Today is the day that the people of Venezuela will vote on whether or not they should annex a large part of the country of Guayana.
As you can imagine, the Guayanans aren't happy to hear about it. This is just another in the series of world provocations being made by an increasing group of marxist villains throughout the globe. Many skeptics thinking this is just a rouse, pushed by China and/or Russia to draw US manpower and resources away from the other two conflicts that they are currently involved in,

One of the few saving graces is that the Brazilian Army has moved into protective positions sin a salient along the trigger country border. Venezuela may find it hard to run through that real estate on its way into Guyana. (there is much intractable land along the border and the southern access is best)
