Lastly, the Biden administration is racking up a "W" in the last negotiations with Israel regarding retaliation against Iran.
IDF will not retaliate against Iran (outwardly) and is instead going into Rafah with Biden's blessing.

Going all the way back, the IDF knew that it had to pacify Rafah in order to dismantle the HAMAS as a threat in Gaza/Israel. This had to be done prior to Israel's march against Hezbollah. (discussed in this video).
The IDF continues to soften up Hezbollah in Lebanon in preparation for the assault.
