The use of the "Open Arms" was a bit of a flag as the WCK (World Central Kitchen) is loaded with cash. (see below). They could have rented/bought a purpose driven ship for this operation but, one would think that they will be sea lifting Gaza's into Europe in the near future. For that you would prefer to keep your hands clean and hire a different NGO.

The ultimate goal in these type of ops is to establish NGOs who, in times of crisis, will be able to have their hand on the throttle of available foodstuffs in the needed areas.
This moving towards population management ALWAYS smacks of elitism and the use of "celebrity" to put a kindly face on what will soon be food warfare is pretty much straight out of the red playbook.
If these suppositions are wrong, then I stand corrected, but..if right, it is another case of rampant social elitism sacrificing lives to push their agenda one more yard.
