Earlier this month (December 2022) The President of Peru, Pedro Castillo, and a number of his ministers were arrested by Peruvian authorities and charged with trying to overthrow the government of Peru and installing a socialist regime. (video above)
His socialist pals in the region didn't see anything wrong with that as in this speech by current Colombian President (former terrorist and still socialist leaning) Gustavo Metro feel differently. (Possibly, had the coup gone through Colombia would be looking at additional problems from it's red faction)
His Vice President, BFF and fellow traveller, the Red Queen; Dina Boluarte was installed as interim President.
I thought we should have given President Castillo the benefit of the doubt. (see below)
